Due to the COVID-19 situation, Carnegie Mellon University EMS will remain out of service for the remainder of the semester. This was an extremely difficult decision and we remain committed to supporting the CMU community in any way that we can. However, as the majority of our members will be learning remotely for the rest of the semester, our support will have to come from afar as we simply do not have the resources to continue serving the community that we love.

We are incredibly grateful for all the support we have received regarding this decision and want to recognize the dedicated members of our partner agencies, particularly Carnegie Mellon University Police Department and Pittsburgh Bureau of EMS, who do not have the luxury to remain at home. Our thoughts are with our first responder family.

Please find the most up to date information on CMU's response to the coronavirus here: https://www.cmu.edu/alert/coronavirus/index.html. For any members of the CMU community experiencing a medical emergency on campus, please continue to contact campus police at 412.268.2323.

CMU EMS serves the medical needs of the Carnegie Mellon campus community 24-7. It is an all-volunteer, 100% student-run quick response service.

CMU EMS is a proud member of the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation
